Back from Hibernation and Becoming New!!!

Hello all my dear friends! Wow its almost near the end of 09 where has the time gone??!!! And what a year!! Let me start out saying GOD is an AWESOME God!!! This year for me has been filled with many many many changes starting literally from Jan 1st to now! And most of the time it felt like my heart was going to be torn out of me and everything around me was in chaos! But God is sooooooooo faithfull, loving, compassionate, and amazing! He is teaching me what it is like to truly love Him and be loved by Him!! Its funny sometimes we think we are on the right path but then God stops us and in contrast to Him we see how sinfull, selfish and carnal we really are! That's the path God has been taking me on. At first I was in denial then hopelessness crept in but He is faithful and it amazes me how patient He is when we just don't seem to get things. He is the only one who can make me holy, righteous and like him and fullfill all my hopes and dreams I cant do that on my own! ( we hear it all the time duh right? guess i didn't get it!) And not only has He been working on me this year but my family as well we all are becoming new! It is the most amazing thing ever! Every time I turn around God is doing something else I am in constant amazement and awe of Him! And though of course with blessing sometimes comes a trial and believe me the devil has most certainly hit us with some of his hardest blows, but what is so cool is unlike before we have learned to lean on God fully and not try and figure out so much, he is nothing compared to our God we have the faith and strength to go on and know that God has it all in His hands! This is a verse I've been going back to Jer 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. NIV. God does have a great plan for me and even though sometimes it doesn't make much sense I can be sure that everything is happening for a reason. I have refused the devils trap for me to just exist. I am going to truly LIVE my life constantly growing, moving and becoming new!! :) Hey so what has been going on in all your lives?? leave me a comment! Love you all!!

I'M OUT OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!! one more semester down!! thought i would share that!!! I feel so relieved!! woo hoo! ;)

Prayer Request!!!

To all my dear wonderful friends and family I have a prayer request!! ok so i have been working on getting my manager to come to church with me and there has been a few times when we have had some really intense conversations!! but lately hes been asking a lot of questions and i think he is really really close to coming ssooooo i request that you guys please pray that he does!!! he needs God so much and hes pretty open just has some things to work out i think before he makes the decision to come!! thanks bunches love you all!!!! oh and his name is Dave!

So I finally found time to sit down and write on this thing wow its been a month! In case you were wondering YES!! I have fallen off the face of the earth!! lol No I'm in school double full time now so between that work and church I have absolutely no clue what free time is anymore!! ha ha I guess it doesn't help that I must have been crazy in the head the day i signed up for classes i must have signed up for all the hardest classes I could find! But I'm not complaining I'm getting a lot done this semester and it will definitely pay off!!! oooo I am so excited fall is here!!! I love it! Its getting cooler and you get to drink peppermint hot chocolate and lattes and you get to bundle all up!!! mmm yay! I had some free time today between classes and I just sat outside and I was totally enjoying the weather and having one of my little talks with God he is so wonderful we are definitely a blessed people! oh that's another thing that has been so awesome! With school comes so many opportunity's to share what we have with others Ive especially been getting to know a lot of people in my critical thinking class some really touchy subjects come up and its neat what people let out when they let their guard down!! Bottom line I have seen all of them are hurting and long for a love that is real!!! Its crazy when I look and see how much I take for granted how much I have! God has really put a burden in my heart to see the lost saved and make a difference this semester!! When i really look at in perspective all this tiring schedule this semester doesn't matter because it gives me an opportunity to share what i have and that in itself keeps me focused and motivated!! OK so Ive rambled on i think i will stop for now! goodnight! God bless!!!

Heeeeey everyone wellll after a long looooong week and weekend of working and planning for my dads surprise retirement party and my parents anniversary I'm finally getting some relaxing time in (well as much as the Stephens household can ever have anyways lol) but its all over and it all turned out wonderful! yay! My dad was soooo surprised and we were able to even get some of his old time work buddies to come which shocked him even more!! score!!!;) God is so awesome He has truly blessed me with such wonderful, dedicated,and godly parents and a whole ton of great friends!It was nice to give back to my parents for a change!! I'm glad it was all a success!

Hey everyone I'm a blogger now!! woo hoo!! I'm not to sure what that holds for me but I thought I would try my hand at it! Actually I believe I like it better than everything else I have been on!! Well as of yet nothing unusual has happened to me lately soo my life cycle at the moment consists of church,work,church,work and ummm more church and work!:) Oh I did buy a car yay! and go on W.A.Y. choir tour last month that was a great alternation from the norm!!
